Ygrene Work’s mission is to create easily accessible, affordable, energy-smart home and building improvements for all property owners.
In 2006, co-founder Dennis Hunter initiated Green Energy Loan (GEL) in order to help facilitate financing to enable homeowners to retrofit their homes to reduce carbon emissions. This led to software development and a fully scaled-up national PACE program to propagate the business throughout the country.
Following the summer and fall of 2010, Ygrene had gained a limitless source of capital, and relationships with industry leaders. Which has put them in a position to offer turnkey Clean Energy Financing District set-up, administration, and financing throughout the U.S.
For an idea of savings, with $1 million dollars of Ygrene funding invested in your community results in:
- a $648 million dollar stimulus
- 153,000 Million tons of CO2 avoided
- $2 million in energy savings
- 3,885 jobs created
- 15 million gallons of water saved
- 20 kilowatts of energy produced
Ygrene offers smart alternatives to traditional financing with fixed terms up to twenty years. Just one low rate, in addition to no upfront costs.
You the consumer determine how much you save. Whether it’s for window efficiency or high efficiency plumbing fixtures , there is a right balance for everybody’s budget.
Eligibility for Ygrene’s services is not based on consumer credit scores because Ygrene financing is not considered personal debt.
There are thousands of possibilities to improve efficiency, generate energy, and save water.
